Yummy Tush Spray

I have a new recipe that I absolutely LOVE and I have to share it. I, as you know from previous blogs, I use Honest Company diapers and wipes (they come as a package). So the wipes are totally natural and basic, and sometimes (this is about to get gross) Jack can do a massive poo and these wipes don’t really cut it. The older he gets, the more stink is occurring in these particular instances. By using the word stink I am being kind to Jack and preserving some dignity for the little guy. It’s actually pretty hard core what he does in those diapers, it’s like hazmat suit time.

So today I made an all natural solution to spray on his tush when he does a poo, then I can wipe with the wipes and he can get nice and clean. This spritz is SO AMAZING and I am now obsessed with it. It smells so good that I sprayed a few squirts in the air afterwards just as a little aromatherapy. Here is the recipe:

1 TBS Olive Oil (Or almond Oil or Apricot Oil also work)
1 TBS Liquid Castile Soap (I use Dr. Bronner’s)
2 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
1 Drop Lavender (Or sweet orange, that’s what I used)
1 cup Water

Seriously, I am so happy with this. It made Jack have the cleanest tush and he was so happy with the refreshing spritz that he also gives it 2 thumbs up. I used a tiny mist bottle that I got at CVS a long time ago and it works perfectly. You can also stop using wipes all together with this solution, just spray directly on the baby and use large cotton pads to wipe. Your baby’s skin will thank you later!
